Evident Software is pleased to announce the Beta program for ClearStone 5.0, our industry-leading platform for Application Performance Management.
ClearStone 5.0 is a major architectural update of our ClearStone platform. We’ve kept the data collection and data visualization features our customers count on, while re-designing the ClearStone framework to make it more flexible, extensible, and scalable. Now, in addition to providing metrics, visualizations, and notifications for applications using Java, NoSQL, or data caching, ClearStone provides:
- An Open Data Interface that enables engineers to dynamically instrument metrics, KPIs, and SLAs for any IT asset; using simple scripts and XML-over-HTTP calls, DevOps teams can extend ClearStone to cover whatever systems and services they like, creating a centralized APM solution for all on-premise and cloud-based operations
- Out-of-the-box collection of application-level metrics from platforms such as JBoss, WebLogic, and Tomcat
- Out-of-the-box collection of system-level metrics, such as UNIX SAR (system activity recorder)
- Correlation of all collected metrics and events, including custom metrics/events
- Real-time visibility into historical performance data without requiring a relational database
- A comprehensive management framework that makes alerts and events actionable, enabling enterprises to accelerate troubleshooting and to optimize application performance
ClearStone 5.0 provides an unprecedentedly comprehensive view of Web, cloud, and enterprise applications. In a single pane of glass, developers and operations teams can monitor, manage, and optimize Web-scale applications. Through the new ClearStone ODI, they can dynamically tailor application monitoring to take into account metrics and SLAs about any IT asset.
