Evident Software Announces Release 3.4 for Oracle Coherence

August 19, 2009 · Newark, NJ · Evident Software, a leading provider of innovative, scalable and proven real-time intelligence for managing high-performance IT, today announced Version 3.4 of ClearStone Live® for Coherence along with customer successes in the e-commerce and government sectors. Evident Software’s architecture—which uniquely embeds Oracle® Coherence for its high capacity, real-time flight recorder, and leverages an innovative, Adobe® Flex®-based interface—is setting new standards in the metering and monitoring markets.

Building on its easy-to-use, and highly scalable real-time monitoring solutions, Evident has introduced new historical visualization capabilities known as ChronoGraphs. End users can now compare trends across multiple time series, including comparison of live data to historical. Ad hoc visualizations can be designed by end users—without any SQL or programming—in minutes. Benefits include more accurate capacity planning, greater productivity and lower operating costs.

Evident ClearStone Live now supports plug in custom Java code to perform customized event processing. Users can easily invoke custom code or call scripts for automation, provisioning or system management integration, reducing reaction time.

Evident Software’s ClearStone Live for Coherence helps Oracle users to manage performance and capacity issues by combining information from disparate sources, including JMX and log data, into a form that is actionable. “As Oracle Coherence moves into production, more sophisticated, automated and scalable tools are required to ensure performance, optimal resource allocation, and staff productivity.
