Multi-cluster Monitoring in a Single Dashboard
ClearStone for Oracle Coherence provides high-level views across clusters so IT teams can discover problems across grids in time to take corrective action.

ClearStone for Oracle Coherence monitors the Coherence grid and JVM performance (such as heap/memory pools and garbage collection). It supports configurable performance thresholds, alerting on any measured or derived metric, and custom MBeans from any JMX Agent.

Support for Large-Scale Environments
ClearStone for Oracle Coherence scales to support dozens of clusters with hundreds of nodes.

Remote Control of Management Operations
ClearStone supports remote script execution through SSH, POJO methods, and JMX MBean operations. Users can extend ClearStone’s functionality with custom operations by leveraging in-house scripts and programs without having to rewrite them for proprietary APIs.

Operations may be executed automatically, enabling programmatic response to events and threshold violations, or simply to schedule execution of particular operations (perfect for developers and testers). Built-in Coherence performance test tools provide full support for user’s test code/test scripts, calculation of cache indices, and enable users to provide code to load the cache, spin up clients, and nodes.

Supported remote operations include cache browsing, node restarts, service management, remote script execution, access to MBean operations, cluster-wide thread dumps, and many more. These capabilities are extensible through ClearStone’s flexible management framework.

Data Warehouse and BI Tools
ClearStone’s Chronographs option provides data warehouse and BI tools that enable IT engineers to generate ad hoc reports of historical data. ClearStone Chronographs can store information for an indefinite period of time. The warehouse is stored in an Oracle database.

Versatile and Customizable Dashboards
Built on Adobe Flex, ClearStone dashboards offer advanced visualizations, such as heat maps, that make it easy to analyze partition topologies and performance hot spots.

The user interface enables IT to monitor heterogeneous applications from the same pane of glass.

Real-Time Log Monitoring
Real-time monitoring, consolidation, viewing and alerting for Coherence JVM logs across the entire cluster. Simplifies reporting of Coherence JVM errors that may otherwise go unnoticed. Summarizes all the JVM logs from an entire cluster on one console, and provides email and/or SNMP alerting for the severe errors so that proactive actions can be taken to resolve issues in real-time before they impact application performance.

Advanced Support for Coherence Incubator Patterns
ClearStone for Oracle Coherence supports Push Replication, Messaging, and other patterns available from Oracle’s Coherence Incubator.
